LOOKBOOK Hype: Death Valley California

I adore this photo. Fellow Canadian, Ania B, won her stunning headdress on EBay for $99. Her sheer, long sleeve dress can be found at http://store.americanapparel.net for around $40. I feel like this photo should have it's own commercial; Headdress, $99. Dress. $40. Capturing a moment? Priceless. Of course, Ania has the fantastic silhouette one needs to pull of a nylon spandex micro-mesh mini dress, which only makes the photo more beautiful. I imagine her feet are bare but I also think these great Minnetonka boots would go nicely with her look.

LOOKBOOK Hype: City Chic

I love this look. Posted by the fashionably adventurous, Stella Rose St Clair, it reminds me of Didi Conn in Grease as Frenchie circa 1978. St Clair pairs her cotton candy-esque hair and fifties inspired Miu Miu shades with a sassy black leather jacket and white button up American Apparel blouse (buttoned all the way up). They're the perfect topping for her delicious cocoa coloured midi length skirt. Who doesn't love leopard print accessories and a great pair of pumps? The whole look is very fifties inspired in a biker chic way. It's got a tough girl femininity that makes it sexy in a totally covered up way. I really dig it!
